Income Generation Projects

Throughout my service my women's group have initiated and been empowered in developing a business plan and selling a product. With a source of income through this group, the group may do more regional and community outreach and empower their own family and community, hopefully having more sufficient funds to raise a healthy family. One of the income generation projects was a fruit and vegetable stand as the closest way to buy such foods is approximately 30 minutes away on a motorcycle. Although the stand is developing slowly, this community-driven innovative idea will hopefully provide food for many families that otherwise would not have a healthy option. Floor-cleaning solution is also an option of selling as well as soaps manufactured by the women's group.
